Sarpsborg 08 has sold Franklin Tebo to Røde Stjerne. The transfer is worth 40 million kroner and is one of the largest sales of a midfielder from Eliteserien.
What happened?
Sarpsborg 08 gave Tebo permission to travel and complete the transfer to the big club from Belgrade. Although they themselves communicated that they did not want to sell their important midfielder, they eventually wanted to complete the agreement that brings in new good money.
What does it mean for Sarpsborg 08?
Sarpsborg 08 is now looking for reinforcements for their own team. Bjørn Inge Utvik is already ready for the club from January 1st, but it may prove difficult as Vancouver Whitecaps have not opened up to release him at the current time.
